Brazil USA Capital visited several of the most important innovation centers and events in Brazil. In Rio, over 25,000 people attended the Web Summit featuring hundreds of start-up companies. Next stop was the PIT – Parque de Inovação Tecnológica in São José dos Campos. The park features four buildings and over 300 companies with plans to add housing and direct rail to the complex. The next visit was to PWC AgTech Garage in Piracicaba featuring AgTech innovation companies. The last stop was in Ribeirao Preto for meetings at the DABI Business Park and then to the Agri Show – one of the largest Agri Shows in the world. The size of this show reflects the strength of the Brazil agriculture market.
